Marcella Driver-Moliner, which translates to 'young warrior driver and owner of wind mills,' but you can call me Cell. I am a queer bilingual new media artist from the Eastern Townships of Quebec, now located in North Bay, Canada. My work as an artist, illustrator, animator and sculptor critically engages with digital aesthetics and thoughtful research in technology to address the climate crisis & the abstract visualization of neurodivergent experiences. The mediums I use to discover are drawing, 3D modelling, laser cutting, 3D printing, 3D scanning, UV printing, sewing, photography, woodworking, Adobe Suite and the hyperfixation of the moment. The diverse amount of media represents my flexibility and desire to discover the right tone to convey the visual message. Although I am an emerging artist with a developing body of work, my goal is always to engage people in creative spaces and transform my perspectives through a fun and thoughtful process. I do this by teaching workshops, helping friends with creative ideas, researching themes or processes and feeding into discoveries and ideas that fuel and soothe my adhd, challenge my dyslexia and vocalize my social disability.
